Many commercial office buildings are pretty similar in specification, so when choosing a building for your business it is not always easy to differentiate between them. As a consequence, a buildings provision of services and amenities are often the decisive factor and they are increasingly important in attracting and retaining high-quality office tenants, improving tenant retention and increasing overall value.

A comprehensive amenity package can create premium value. Indeed although a unique set of amenities is just one factor in a complex market, investment in amenities can make the difference between a vibrant, productive property and one facing vacancies.

In my experience I have found that by having YinYan in a property the overall attraction of the building is immediately enhanced. Prospective tenants are instantly keen to find out more. YinYan are certainly a “conversation piece” when mentioned that they operate in the building!!

Yoga & pilates in offices

If people are happy, tenants are happy – which means the landlord is happy!

Decades ago, office workers expected little more than four walls and a roof when they arrived at work for the day. Now, with many employees spending longer hours at the office and employers increasingly competing for talent, offices are being transformed into dynamic spaces focused on enhancing both the productivity and quality of life of those within.

Yoga has become hugely popular in relieving the stresses and strains of the working day. The power of having YinYan around should not be underestimated….a relaxed workforce is generally a happy and more productive one !

Whereas in the past office workers might have been out the door right at 5:00 pm, given the option many workers will now linger to attend a YinYan yoga or pilates class, have a drink and socialise/network, or read a book in a rooftop garden without ever leaving the building.

These changes in tenant preferences are having a quantifiable effect on office building features and services which in turn are hugely beneficial to both landlord and tenant.
